Scholarship Programs
The El Paso Pan American Round Table gives scholarships to the best students in financial need in the upper division (junior-senior level) or graduate level at the University of Texas at El Paso. The number of scholarships and the amount given is based on the number of applicants and the monies available each year. The Scholarship Committee meets during the summer months, selects the recipients from the pool of applicants and awards the scholarships. The recipients must maintain the 3.5 GPA which is required in order to maintain the scholarship for the second semester. Scholarship money is raised through member contributions, memorials, and a special fund from the Freedom Foundation.
