History
Fort Worth II was organized in 1964 by Dave Pumphrey and Mary Emily Reigle, a former State Director and other members Willie Ruth Jagoda, Kay Weir and Carolyn Ward. Carolyn Ward is the sole living charter member.Scholarship
Forth Worth II offers a scholarship to a student with financial need who shows great potential in academics. Table members determine when a scholarship will be offered.Special Projects
Members of this table have participated in several Special Projects including:
- Provided shoes for underprivileged children at a local school
- Sent kits to children in Ecuador
- Provided grants to underprivileged and deserving children so they could participate in summer day camps.
- Forth Worth II has a small collection of costumes and slides of Latin America which they share with other community groups.
